Ed Schwarz PSC Federation of Teachers Scholarship

The Ed Schwarz Faculty Federation Scholarship is awarded each semester to one or two students who are union members or whose immediate family members are in a labor union. This fund was established by the full-time faculty members of Prairie State College through their union, the Prairie State College Faculty Federation (Illinois Federation of Teachers Local 3816). It honors retired Professor of Communications Ed Schwarz, a long-time professor, speech team coach, former union president, and advocate for teaching and learning at PSC.
