The Family of Shirley Kline

The Kline Family Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in memory of Shirley Kline, former owner of Kline’s Department Store, in Chicago Heights, IL. Mrs. Kline also spent 20 years as a board member for the Prairie State College Foundation, which has awarded scholarships to students in need of tuition and textbook assistance. She also was a board member for Aunt Martha’s Youth Service Center, a south suburban agency that provides services for poor teenagers and families. Mrs. Kline volunteered every week for 10 years at St. James Hospital in Chicago Heights.
